Distal Upper Extremity Tool (DUET)
Developed by: Auburn University
Description: This tool estimates the risk of developing upper extremity musculoskeletal disorders based on the perceived effort of workplace tasks and how often they perform those tasks. Users input the approximate effort and number of times a worker performs a given task, and the tool will estimate the total damage that could accumulate across all the inputted tasks. There are a few useful links about the tool, including more detailed instructions, access to the original supporting research, and other similar tools (LiFFT and The Shoulder Tool) by these developers.
