Recently Released Resources

CRE-MSD launched a new series of resources called ‘Impact Stories’ at the 2025 CRE-MSD conference. 

This story highlights the impacts of Ontario Power Generation (OPG)'s musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) prevention program over a 10-year period (2007-2017), written by Lisa Beech-Hawley. Learn how the organization established a systematic approach using the MSD Prevention Guideline for Ontario, shifting organizational culture, and developing a sustainable program resulting in injury reduction.

This impact story outlines the professional journey of an Ergonomist, Allison Stephens, and her experiences working at Ford Motor Company for over 30 years. The story spans from her roots as a co-op student and the first Ergonomist in the company, to her role in expanding the ergonomics program throughout the globe. Learn how the program impacted organizational culture, improved not only injury rates but quality, morale, and productivity, and evolved into a Global Ergonomics Program influencing MSD prevention through design
